“A little gem of a Chapel in the midst of San Gwann. Santa Margerita Chapel , also known as Arar Chapel, is a 16th century chapel in San Gwann, Malta. The chapel was built for the spiritual services of farmers working the fields in the area. It was built when attacks from the sea were common. The chapel was partially damaged during World War II causing serious damages but large parts have survived. Today the church is a landmark in San Gwann and architecturally contrasts with the modern housing of the area. ”

“I love the chapel.”

“This chapel is a true sanctuary. I often come here to find peace and quiet away from the daily grind. The historical significance of St. Margaret Chapel is palpable, and the attention to detail in maintaining its original charm is commendable. The events hosted here are always well-organized and enriching. It’s a wonderful place to connect with both your faith and the local community.”
